20/07/10 The services are up and running in the new Finnish DataCenter.

IP addresses have changed as follows:

In the 'Account Center' you can get your working IP address to your normal server. The owners of normal servers can use the 'Dynamic Location' feature to move their current non-working server to a working location instantly.

The latest zBlock has been added to all CS:S servers. It´s recommended to run 'Restore server.cfg' to your normal match server because it contains important security related settings and of course updated zBlock settings.

This news will be updated as I manage update more servers to use our secondary Finnish DataCenter.

In the new Finnish DataCenter location services are currently run by 16 cores (8x3Ghz + 8x3.2GHz) and 14GB RAM. After our new main uplink has been set up, GFM will run as usual with full power (40 CPU cores).

Services in Germany and Netherlands DataCenters are working normally.

Between June 16th and July 4th, all the problems that have occurred are caused by our operator academica.fi. Because they were incapable of fixing our connection in our Finnish DataCenter, we are transferring to a new operator on July 15th and the rest of our physical machines will be restored back online as soon as possible.

Currently our connection in the old Finnish DataCenter is barely usable. Because to this, we have shutdown all servers until our new uplink is online. You can recognize our Finnish DataCenter location from the IP's that start with "217".

GFM apologizes all inconveniences caused by the downtime and we have compensated all our customers with bonus credit that can be used to buy new services or extend any existing subscription.

24/06/10 The latest CS:S update is supported by GFM


Click on the above image to see a list of changes. Valve´s update broke GFM automation and Image Technology needed an update, therefore it took a day to get the latest update applied.

Their update also broke all the current plugins and servers are forced to use Tic 66. Due to above changes, all servers has been reinstalled.

Game server side control panel has been updated to v1.15.2. Click on the image below to see a bigger version.



This update contains design upgrade with couple of bug fixes and most importantly the following features has been ported from the admin control panel:

- Update server (Non-destructive):  Apply an update (such as steam update) to your server.
- Reinstall server (Destructive):  With the click of a button you can restore your server back to original.

With the above features, you can either restore your server back to original or apply an update to your game server instantly at any time you want. Both options has a real-time progress meter and your server will be restarted automatically when this process has been done!

Regardless of a rented game server, all control panels has Update/Reinstall server options.

The GFM (Game Server Hosting Control Panel) has been updated to version 1.15.2

You can define as many desired coupon codes as you want with fully customizable discount percentages and expiration. These codes applies to both game/voice servers at the same time.

We have just added a new Coupon Code System that allows you to enter a coupon code when ordering game or voice servers.
